Spectators: 7688 (Terracing: 5767, Seating: 1768, VIP seats: 153) 7 minutes into the match, Victoria Września's goal looked a bit too open when Boniface Fulton came free, but Julian Scigan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Irving Dennis made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Radowit Burdzel sent off a good shot on target. Victoria Września's Julian Scigan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonia Webb in the 16th minute of play. Antonia Webb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Julian Scigan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 20 minutes of play, Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Baptiste Beck made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julian Scigan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julian Scigan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonia Webb in the 25th minute of play. Irving Dennis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witomir Lichniak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th match minute, Victoria Września was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dawid Zbikowski to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Radowit Burdzel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Irving Dennis. That made the score 1-2 in the 38 minute of play. Anton Coulombe struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Julian Scigan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sport Lisboa e Benfica. After the first half Sport Lisboa e Benfica were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antonia Webb made a kick off. Witomir Lichniak kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After 58 played minutes, Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Georges Christopher shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julian Scigan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sport Lisboa e Benfica reached it. Baptiste Beck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Scigan having to interfere. In the 63rd match minute, Sport Lisboa e Benfica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlton Andrade to maneuver through the defense. Sport Lisboa e Benfica were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Victoria Września's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Georges Christopher took the corner. The corner led Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Georges Christopher to fire away a dangerous shot which Julian Scigan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Victoria Września's Miroslaw Pilipiec got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 82nd minute Radowit Burdzel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irving Dennis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baptiste Beck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Victoria Września's zone, Wilfred Fleming stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julian Scigan came out of the goal and Wilfred Fleming tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 90 minutes, Roch Skirzynski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Victoria Września's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roch Skirzynski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Victoria Września's Radowit Burdzel in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sport Lisboa e Benfica's goalie prevented a goal. The Sport Lisboa e Benfica supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sport Lisboa e Benfica would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
