The supporters of International Thunders booed when Grêmio Prudente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgílio Vinhas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oséas Fontes during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. International Thunders's supporters rose to their feet, but Jens Aus den Birken was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
