Phil Craft hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Heriberto Conley managed to get in a good position for a shot. American Airlines's supporters rose to their feet, but Heriberto Conley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matthias Fransson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Matthias Fransson made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Phil Craft sent off a good shot on target. Anthony Shields showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olov Hellkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Heriberto Conley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthias Fransson having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Titus Guillory in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matthias Fransson saved JKs Talanger from getting behind. In the 33rd minute, Claes Arenstedt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anthony Shields was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A collision led to JKs Talanger getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Villiam Lägdin hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, Villiam Lägdin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Anthony Shields showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olov Hellkvist in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Heriberto Conley left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The American Airlines fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Matthias Fransson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Titus Guillory in the 65th minute of the match. 2-1 became the score in the 65th minute when Titus Guillory elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The supporters of American Airlines booed when JKs Talanger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josef Adelsköld didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th match minute, JKs Talanger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claes Arenstedt to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute Titus Guillory shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthias Fransson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Titus Guillory recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 96 minutes into the match, JKs Talanger's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Greenwood came free, but Matthias Fransson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
