Victoria Września's supporters rose to their feet, but Bogumil Bierfass was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mario Grebe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victoria Września's Julian Scigan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobi Pircher in the 10th minute of play. Mario Grebe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mario Grebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jurand Glaza, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Gregor Renz kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Radowit Burdzel to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tobi Pircher in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. The corner ended in Michal Bartocha almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but International Thunders's Mario Grebe did a great save. The supporters of Victoria Września booed when International Thunders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uwe Marder didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, International Thunders's Thomas Gütermann got a free kick in the 67th minute. A hard shot by Michal Bartocha from long distance, 68 minutes into the match, got Mario Grebe's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 70th minute of the match Jonas Wehren shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julian Scigan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The International Thunders fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Victoria Września's Hieronim Cieslak shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 95th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Mario Grebe but with some difficulty. In the 96thth minute of the game Roch Skirzynski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but International Thunders's Mario Grebe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
