Robert Schlager took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thiago Couto. Thiago Couto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Gregor Renz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Colin Schwarz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Couto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Thiago Couto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Wehren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. International Thunders's Mario Grebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeca Velasco in the 15th minute of play. International Thunders's Pascal Oehlert got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 22 played minutes Grêmio Prudente got a freekick which was hit by Guto Lucas. 23 minutes into the match, Grêmio Prudente's goal looked a bit too open when Pascal Oehlert came free, but Thiago Couto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gregor Renz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Grêmio Prudente booed when International Thunders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobi Pircher didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mario Grebe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Serginho da Silva in the 30th minute. After a rather tough play, International Thunders's Robert Schlager got a free kick in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the match, International Thunders's goalkeeper Mario Grebe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mauro Mattos. If Tobi Pircher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grêmio Prudente's Thiago Couto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Schlager in the 36th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Mauro Mattos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mario Grebe was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 48 minutes into the match, Grêmio Prudente's goal looked a bit too open when Pascal Oehlert came free, but Thiago Couto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Benjamin Wrobel hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Mario Grebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albertinho Perez in the 58th minute of the match. 64 minutes into the game, Pascal Oehlert cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Thiago Couto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 69 minutes into the match, Grêmio Prudente's goal looked a bit too open when Tobi Pircher came free, but Thiago Couto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of International Thunders booed when Grêmio Prudente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oséas Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the game, Pascal Oehlert recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Thiago Couto. Pascal Oehlert showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. With a little luck, Grêmio Prudente's Thiago Couto got control of the ball when Gregor Renz tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Grêmio Prudente booed when International Thunders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Gütermann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mario Grebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serginho da Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Pascal Oehlert struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Thiago Couto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for International Thunders. Benjamin Wrobel kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 89th minute Albertinho Perez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Grebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mario Grebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serginho da Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Grêmio Prudente's Thiago Couto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobi Pircher in the 94th minute of play. The Grêmio Prudente supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching International Thunders's performance. The match ended with a win for International Thunders.
