Spectators: 7745 (Terracing: 5810, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 154) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jonas Wehren took the kick off in the first half of the match. Sebastian Zogreanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonas Wehren in the 7th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Muget's goalkeeper Sebastian Zogreanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonas Wehren. Ernest Bivolaru charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernest Bivolaru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ernest Bivolaru kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Jonas Wehren's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sebastian Zogreanu firmly grabbed it by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as International Thunders's Robert Schlager slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sebastian Zogreanu. That made the score 1-0 after 23 minutes of play. Sabin Golescu scored 1-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mario Grebe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 36 minutes, Tobi Pircher managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. International Thunders's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tobi Pircher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Muget's Sebastian Zogreanu got control of the ball when Jonas Wehren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gregor Renz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Sebastian Zogreanu made a huge save. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mugur Popescu to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of International Thunders booed when Muget was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabin Golescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastian Zogreanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonas Wehren went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Muget getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Ion Zamfir hit a great ball. International Thunders's Mario Grebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mugur Popescu in the 63rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Muget's zone, Tobi Pircher stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Zogreanu came out of the goal and Tobi Pircher tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sebastian Zogreanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Wehren in the 69th minute of play. Jonas Wehren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastian Zogreanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregor Renz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th match minute, International Thunders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Bartl to maneuver through the defense. Mugur Popescu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 77th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Muget defense, Tobi Pircher kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastian Zogreanu. The Muget fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastian Zogreanu should have stopped the shot. 88 minutes into the game, Jonas Wehren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. International Thunders's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Muget the free kick. Jonas Wehren kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Wehren in the 91st minute of play forced Muget's goalkeeper Sebastian Zogreanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Zogreanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Schlager, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. There was no doubt that International Thunders were the better team. International Thunders's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
