Ermegildo Ostots's late challenge caught a Brazil Academy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ermegildo Ostots helped the player get up and apologised. Thomás Massa hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ermegildo Ostots made a kick off. If Róbson Simão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 64 minutes into the match, Róbson Simão dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Isaias Jerold, 0-1. Thomás Massa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Isaias Jerold. Hurboc's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
