Petruț Răduleț kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Pompiliu Şteţ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimir Koehler in the 14th minute of play. In the 19th minute César Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pompiliu Şteţ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Armando Meira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brazil Academy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Huns the free kick. In the 21st minute, Brazil Academy's Cido Paranaense seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Cido Paranaense the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Brazil Academy protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cido Paranaense had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 21st minute, Cido Paranaense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ionică Omescu hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute, Róbson Simão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to The Huns getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Vali Ştefănică hit a great ball. César Torres's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pompiliu Şteţ read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. In the 37th match minute, Brazil Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Meira to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, The Huns's Calistrat Vulcan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind João Azevedo. João Azevedo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0.

After a rather tough play, Brazil Academy's Gláuber Nascimento got a free kick in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Moromete in the 56th minute of play forced Brazil Academy's goalkeeper João Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th match minute, The Huns was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ionică Omescu to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in The Huns's zone, Róbson Simão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pompiliu Şteţ came out of the goal and Róbson Simão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Armando Meira let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 61st minute shot 1-1 at rihgt post. Petru Burdulea charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Petru Burdulea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Róbson Simão struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Pompiliu Şteţ didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brazil Academy. Fiori Ferraz scored 2-3 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pompiliu Şteţ, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Huns's Pompiliu Şteţ proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save The Huns from getting a goal against them. Armando Meira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Pompiliu Şteţ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Róbson Simão in the 91st minute of play forced The Huns's goalkeeper Pompiliu Şteţ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
