Aristides Bras was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 12 minutes into the game, Hertha 1969's Lutz Ertel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aristides Bras made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Teodosio Herauso hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Hertha 1969's Lutz Ertel tried to score from far away in the 19th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Aristides Bras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lutz Ertel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 minutes, Segundo Orzaize mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caballeritos del Baile and the Hertha 1969 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Caballeritos del Baile's Segundo Orzaize got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 29 minutes into the match, Caballeritos del Baile's goal looked a bit too open when Lutz Ertel came free, but Aristides Bras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Caballeritos del Baile getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Segundo Orzaize hit a great ball. Hertha 1969 were furious when Marcus Kraatz was red carded, 32 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a defensive mix-up in Hertha 1969's zone, Maximiliano Iaki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alf Kleinert came out of the goal and Maximiliano Iaki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Harry Rupp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristides Bras having to interfere. Aristides Bras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andi Godescheid, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the match, Andi Godescheid had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aristides Bras. Caballeritos del Baile's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andi Godescheid was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The Caballeritos del Baile players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hertha 1969 were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arsenio Cristos to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Caballeritos del Baile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apolo Berdoi to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leandro Gaufred in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alf Kleinert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andi Godescheid received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aristides Bras came out and tried to block the shot, but Andi Godescheid slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 61st minute. In the 64th minute, Anton Aicher reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aristides Bras. The goal made the score 0-5. After 67 played minutes Hertha 1969 got a freekick which was hit by Pepe Kißling. Alf Kleinert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arsenio Cristos, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Hertha 1969's Alf Kleinert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleto Gabino in the 69th minute of play. After 71 played minutes Caballeritos del Baile got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Gabino. In the 74thth minute of the game Cleto Gabino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hertha 1969's Alf Kleinert was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 77th minute, Arsenio Cristos made a precise shot to the right of Alf Kleinert. Hertha 1969's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Anton Aicher's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Aristides Bras skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leandro Gaufred in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alf Kleinert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alf Kleinert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Quin in the 89th minute of play. When Pepe Kißling fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hertha 1969's protests and gave Pepe Kißling a yellow card for diving instead. After 93 played minutes Hertha 1969 got a freekick which was hit by Pepe Kißling. Alf Kleinert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsenio Cristos in the 93rd minute of the match. Hertha 1969's Alf Kleinert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arsenio Cristos in the 96th minute of play. The Hertha 1969 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match.
