The Old Boys's Vicente Nesto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juvenal Loureiro in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute of the match Carrapichel - FDFDF got a corner. The Old Boys's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hamílton Moraes ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Carrapichel - FDFDF's corner Hamílton Moraes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vicente Nesto quite easily take care of the ball. The referee gave Carrapichel - FDFDF a penalty, 8 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Hamílton Moraes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of The Old Boys's Vicente Nesto. 1-0. The Old Boys's Vicente Nesto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save The Old Boys from getting a goal against them. Doni Botelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Bartoli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Doni Botelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeo Abarca in the 15th minute of the match. Vicente Nesto made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Gino Paraibano sent off a good shot on target. Doni Botelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gogo Oskitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 24 minutes, José Paulo Paraibano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carrapichel - FDFDF's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Paulo Paraibano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Juvenal Loureiro kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Gino Paraibano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Vicente Nesto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 36 minutes into the game, Hamílton Moraes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vicente Nesto. Hamílton Moraes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Hamílton Moraes took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vicente Nesto. Vicente Nesto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Gino Paraibano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Vicente Nesto made a huge save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hamílton Moraes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vicente Nesto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gino Paraibano in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, The Old Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Hamílton Moraes came free, but Vicente Nesto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute Hamílton Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Nesto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, Carrapichel - FDFDF's Juvenal Loureiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vicente Nesto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Juvenal Loureiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Nesto having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Carrapichel - FDFDF's zone, Gogo Oskitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doni Botelho came out of the goal and Gogo Oskitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 94th minute of the match, Edgardo Bartoli tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Doni Botelho saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. There was no doubt that Carrapichel - FDFDF were the better team. Carrapichel - FDFDF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
