When Abdullah Eryaman came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the F.C internazionale fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdullah Eryaman couldn't finish the play. In the 38th minute, Uğuralp Pamiroğlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zbyszko Duda was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 44th minute Bilal Tükelay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbyszko Duda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zula Scislowicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half F.C internazionale were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Uğuralp Pamiroğlu made a kick off. After 54 minutes, Deniz Geçim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C internazionale and the Purple Shadows players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Zbyszek Bronkala fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Purple Shadows's protests and gave Zbyszek Bronkala a yellow card for diving instead. Abdullah Eryaman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abdullah Eryaman took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zbyszko Duda. Zbyszko Duda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3.
