Spectators: 7762 (Terracing: 5823, Seating: 1785, VIP seats: 154) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Boruc Szostak got the match started through his kick off. If Konstanty Winnicki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Hertha 1969's Andi Godescheid got a free kick in the 8th minute. 12 minutes into the game, Lutz Ertel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jan Solarek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jan Solarek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lutz Ertel's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Boruc Szostak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nico Bell during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Franciszek Gongola took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carl Eisold. Hertha 1969's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Andi Godescheid left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hertha 1969 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Hertha 1969 were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after MZ Wodzisław Śląski's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lutz Ertel took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Lutz Ertel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jan Solarek quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Stefan Gamza hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. MZ Wodzisław Śląski's Boruc Szostak got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute Andi Godescheid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Solarek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wincent Prusinowski charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wincent Prusinowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th match minute, MZ Wodzisław Śląski was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wincent Prusinowski to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Konstanty Winnicki got free with Carl Eisold in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The MZ Wodzisław Śląski players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hertha 1969 were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lutz Ertel to strike the kick off in the second half. Karsten Wolsch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Solarek having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Anton Aicher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jan Solarek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Aicher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MZ Wodzisław Śląski's Jan Solarek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Aicher in the 65th minute of play. Jan Solarek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lutz Ertel, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 79th minute, Stefan Gamza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carl Eisold was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Jan Solarek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lutz Ertel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, MZ Wodzisław Śląski's goalkeeper Jan Solarek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anton Aicher. MZ Wodzisław Śląski's Jan Solarek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andi Godescheid in the 86th minute of play. Jan Solarek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andi Godescheid went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. MZ Wodzisław Śląski's Jan Solarek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save MZ Wodzisław Śląski from getting a goal against them. Anton Aicher kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Hertha 1969 played a much better game than MZ Wodzisław Śląski and deserved their victory. The MZ Wodzisław Śląski players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
