Aldo Ruscitti ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Anthony Di Muzio managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 44th minute, 顾骋瑜 reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alvaro Zaccardi. The goal made the score 1-4. After the first half AC Civetta Notturna were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Filippo Cipollini scored 3-7 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 姚镇铮, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
