The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucas Samuelsson got free with Eliseo Ellande in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 9th minute, Bearnaise EA's Jan-Olof Alin seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jan-Olof Alin the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Bearnaise EA protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jan-Olof Alin had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 8 minutes into the game, one of Bearnaise EA:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Black Sky FC a penalty, 11 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Saverio Weather, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bearnaise EA's Peder Söderberg. 0-1. Ambrosio Lopez scored 0-2 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Peder Söderberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hernan Rios scored 0-3 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Peder Söderberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 19 minutes of play, Black Sky FC's Nereo Rufo made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Peder Söderberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Artemio Navarro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, Pascual Eutor notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Bearnaise EA's Peder Söderberg. Peder Söderberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Peder Söderberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ambrosio Lopez, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute, Nereo Rufo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Peder Söderberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Peder Söderberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Eutor in the 37th minute of play. After some careless play in the Bearnaise EA defense, Pascual Eutor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Peder Söderberg. The Bearnaise EA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Peder Söderberg should have stopped the shot. The Bearnaise EA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Black Sky FC were winning 0-8.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nereo Rufo was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Black Sky FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Axelsson came free, but Eliseo Ellande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nereo Rufo got free with Peder Söderberg in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peder Söderberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Eutor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peder Söderberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nereo Rufo in the 67th minute. In the 77th minute, Nereo Rufo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Peder Söderberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. In the 80th minute Pascual Eutor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peder Söderberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bearnaise EA's Peder Söderberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Eutor in the 87th minute of play.
