The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Picanya FC booed when Black Sky FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrosio Lopez didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnulfo Aztore during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Black Sky FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Arnulfo Aztore hit a great ball. Fran Serra was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 14th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Black Sky FC's Hernan Rios got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21st minute Pascual Eutor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petri Bravo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliseo Ellande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tito Cifuentes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Petri Bravo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nereo Rufo's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. The supporters of Black Sky FC booed when Picanya FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adán Justo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute of the match Saverio Weather shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Petri Bravo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 33 minutes of play, Picanya FC's Tito Cifuentes made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eliseo Ellande was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pascual Eutor during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 41 minutes into the match, Zabal Incera dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eliseo Ellande, 2-0. After some careless play in the Picanya FC defense, Nereo Rufo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Petri Bravo. The Picanya FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Petri Bravo should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hernan Rios was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Nereo Rufo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Petri Bravo. Picanya FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nereo Rufo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Eliseo Ellande stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tito Cifuentes's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Eliseo Ellande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zabal Incera, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Eliseo Ellande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tito Cifuentes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tito Cifuentes took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eliseo Ellande. Eliseo Ellande dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Eliseo Ellande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mitxel Pedraza, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Tito Cifuentes took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eliseo Ellande. Eliseo Ellande dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. In the 89thth minute of the game Tito Cifuentes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Black Sky FC's Eliseo Ellande was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eliseo Ellande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lobo Idiaquez in the 92nd minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Picanya FC had played much better football throughout.
