Spectators: 7671 (Terracing: 5754, Seating: 1764, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Juan Manuel Martínez started the match with the kick off. Hüsrev Can showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Manuel Martínez in the 5th minute of the match. Levent Baş hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. istanbulls's Hüsrev Can played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Manuel Martínez in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute Ricardo Mora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hüsrev Can saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. GuateFortín's German Montoya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ant Sabancı in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, GuateFortín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Talia to maneuver through the defense. German Montoya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Battal Cüneyt Zahir, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 20th match minute, GuateFortín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Collado to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, istanbulls's İsmail Hakkı Mahşer tried to score from far away in the 21st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, GuateFortín's Gabriel Brizuela got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Ziya Serkut recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 29 minutes into the game, GuateFortín's Ricardo Mora nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hüsrev Can made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. İsmail Hakkı Mahşer kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the game, Işık Şerhenk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. istanbulls's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GuateFortín the free kick. A collision led to istanbulls getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Işık Şerhenk hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ant Sabancı stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the istanbulls defense, Ricardo Mora kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hüsrev Can. The istanbulls fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hüsrev Can should have stopped the shot. Ricardo Mora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, istanbulls's Hüsrev Can got control of the ball when Jaime Alvarez tried to sneak it across the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, istanbulls's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Manuel Martínez came free, but Hüsrev Can reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of istanbulls booed when GuateFortín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Talia didn't get a good kick on the ball. GuateFortín made a substitution. Gilberto Escobar replaced Jorge Collado. A collision led to GuateFortín getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Elias Talia hit a great ball. Juan Manuel Martínez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hüsrev Can having to make a save. Hüsmen Soyurgal kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Hüsrev Can showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Manuel Martínez, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 89th match minute, GuateFortín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Manuel Martínez to maneuver through the defense. Hüsrev Can came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by GuateFortín's Ricardo Mora. But to his dismay, Ricardo Mora quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 96th match minute, GuateFortín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Escobar to maneuver through the defense. The istanbulls supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching GuateFortín's performance. The match ended with a win for GuateFortín.
