Spectators: 7687 (Terracing: 5766, Seating: 1768, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rodrigo Cugat kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodrigo Cugat in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Regis Zurica saved Vodka Stars 1949 from getting behind. After 6 minutes Vodka Stars 1949's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alfonso Urbasa who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Roman Clis heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After 8 played minutes Vodka Stars 1949 got a freekick which was hit by Baraxil Folch. Regis Zurica stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodrigo Cugat's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. The audience was convinced that Rodrigo Cugat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Regis Zurica was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Regis Zurica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Cugat in the 14th minute of play. A collision led to Vodka Stars 1949 getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Tato Guasch hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, Rodrigo Cugat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Cugat in the 25th minute of play forced Vodka Stars 1949's goalkeeper Regis Zurica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Regis Zurica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Cordareo in the 27th minute of play. Regis Zurica came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Samuel Cordareo. But to his dismay, Samuel Cordareo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Vodka Stars 1949's Regis Zurica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Cugat in the 39th minute of play. Regis Zurica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Cugat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Regis Zurica stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodrigo Cugat's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Cugat notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Vodka Stars 1949's Regis Zurica. Regis Zurica was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tato Guasch to strike the kick off in the second half. When Tato Guasch was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 51 minutes had been played. Tato Guasch kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. A hard shot by Benedicto Galtero from long distance, 52 minutes into the match, got Regis Zurica's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 54th minute of the match, Rodrigo Cugat got a very nice opportunity to score, but Regis Zurica was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Carlitos Garzon hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Carlitos Garzon's late challenge caught a ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlitos Garzon helped the player get up and apologised. After 64 played minutes Vodka Stars 1949 got a freekick which was hit by Carlitos Garzon. After some careless play in the Vodka Stars 1949 defense, Rodrigo Cugat kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Regis Zurica. The Vodka Stars 1949 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Regis Zurica should have stopped the shot. Santino Kennedy kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. When Gabri Vicente fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vodka Stars 1949's protests and gave Gabri Vicente a yellow card for diving instead. After 73 played minutes Vodka Stars 1949 got a freekick which was hit by Braulio Martínez. Regis Zurica made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Rodrigo Cugat sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 76 in the game by Rodrigo Cugat from a close distance when the talented Regis Zurica managed to make a qualified save. Vodka Stars 1949's players were relieved. The supporters of Vodka Stars 1949 booed when ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Urbasa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Vodka Stars 1949's goalkeeper Regis Zurica had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodrigo Cugat. When Bazil Rubio fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vodka Stars 1949's protests and gave Bazil Rubio a yellow card for diving instead. Bazil Rubio kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th minute of the match Marcos Santiago sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Regis Zurica skillfully saved the ball. After 89 played minutes Vodka Stars 1949 got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Contreras. With a little luck, Vodka Stars 1949's Regis Zurica got control of the ball when Rodrigo Cugat tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 94 minutes, Baraxil Folch mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vodka Stars 1949 and the ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ players grew even worse after the yellow card. The ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
