Ant Sabancı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot by Battal Cüneyt Zahir from long distance, 29 minutes into the match, got Zabal Pedriza's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 32nd minute istanbulls were awarded a corner. İsmail Hakkı Mahşer went to the cornerflag to take it. istanbulls's İsmail Hakkı Mahşer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Zabal Pedriza in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of istanbulls booed when Vodka Stars 1949 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baraxil Folch didn't get a good kick on the ball. Battal Cüneyt Zahir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zabal Pedriza having to interfere. In the 67th match minute, istanbulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Işık Şerhenk to maneuver through the defense. Bazil Rubio took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hüsrev Can. Hüsrev Can dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. A collision led to istanbulls getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Saruhan Eker hit a great ball. Hüsrev Can made an important save on a dangerous shot by Prometeo Perpiñán in the 85th minute. The audience was convinced that Ant Sabancı's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zabal Pedriza was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. istanbulls had won after a very even match.
