After a defensive mix-up in Jardim América FC's zone, Benedykt Flis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Perivaldo Torres came out of the goal and Benedykt Flis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benedykt Flis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Jardim América FC booed when A State Of Trance was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olaf Piechocki didn't get a good kick on the ball. When João Ceresso came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Jardim América FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Ceresso couldn't finish the play. Nuno Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Nico Rossi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benedykt Flis might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Perivaldo Torres. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benedykt Flis ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 30thth minute of the game Sylwester Kaczor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jardim América FC's Perivaldo Torres was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 38 minutes, Reynaldo de Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jardim América FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reynaldo de Castro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reynaldo de Castro made a kick off. 57 minutes into the game, A State Of Trance's Benedykt Flis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Perivaldo Torres made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Iwan Dziuma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the match, Benedykt Flis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Perivaldo Torres, 0-4. Jardim América FC's Nuno Neves managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Radoslaw Wielopolski in the 87 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sylwester Kaczor in the 90th minute of play forced Jardim América FC's goalkeeper Perivaldo Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Jardim América FC's goalkeeper Perivaldo Torres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benedykt Flis. The A State Of Trance supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing A State Of Trance would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
