After a rather tough play, Bicicleta F.C.'s Orlando Abascal got a free kick in the 6th minute. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Rodrigo Cugat got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 8 minutes into the match, Samuel Cordareo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Romulo Paublo. Bicicleta F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuel Cordareo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Romulo Paublo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Cugat in the 11th minute of play. Rodrigo Cugat took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Romulo Paublo. Romulo Paublo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Samuel Cordareo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Romulo Paublo came out and tried to block the shot, but Samuel Cordareo slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 16th minute. Romulo Paublo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo Belarmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samuel Cordareo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benedicto Galtero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romulo Paublo having to interfere. If Abelardo Belarmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Romulo Paublo was a little too slow when Samuel Cordareo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 5-2. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rodrigo Cugat was the one to do the kick off. When Abelardo Belarmo fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's protests and gave Abelardo Belarmo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bicicleta F.C. booed when ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Belarmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 53 minutes into the game, Alfonso Urbasa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bicicleta F.C. the free kick. Romulo Paublo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Cugat, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Lucio Iraido had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Romulo Paublo. Bicicleta F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucio Iraido was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2. In the 80th minute, Alfonso Urbasa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute, Rodrigo Cugat ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romulo Paublo was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-2.
