Spectators: 7659 (Terracing: 5746, Seating: 1761, VIP seats: 152) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Leoncio Abadia took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Rogério Pimenta notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Nacional Potosí's Boni Abad. Boni Abad was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 6th minute, Lekubegi Abaurre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 minutes into the game, Nacional Potosí's Lastur Abarca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Corrêa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Nacional Potosí's Zoilo Abadie got a free kick in the 12th minute. After a rather tough play, Nacional Potosí's Casimiro Abendano got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 17th minute Conrado Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boni Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 played minutes Guararapes got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Leite. Luís Corrêa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lastur Abarca in the 32nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Guararapes's zone, Otsando Abadia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Corrêa came out of the goal and Otsando Abadia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leoncio Abadia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guararapes's Luís Corrêa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leoncio Abadia in the 43rd minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rogério Pimenta made a kick off. After having played for 57 minutes, Lastur Abarca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nacional Potosí's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lastur Abarca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Leoncio Abadia got free in front of the goal in the 58th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Luís Corrêa was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Conrado Leite fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Boni Abad, passed just outside the right post. Lastur Abarca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nacional Potosí's Boni Abad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Nacional Potosí from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Guararapes getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Tiago Gabriel Fernandez hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rios Abancens in the 89th minute of play forced Guararapes's goalkeeper Luís Corrêa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Corrêa came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Nacional Potosí's Lastur Abarca. But to his dismay, Lastur Abarca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2.
