The supporters of Guararapes booed when Estación Q. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romulo Guerau didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Aníbal Tavares kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nemesio Cidro. That made the score 1-2 in the 22 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murillo Ferreira in the 25th minute of play forced Estación Q.'s goalkeeper Nemesio Cidro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Estación Q. getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Arsenio Gaspard hit a great ball. In the 26th minute of the match Mauro Oliveira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nemesio Cidro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 31stth minute of the game Isaac Nayely who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guararapes's Luís Corrêa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tiago Gabriel Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Arsenio Gaspard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Corrêa. Guararapes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arsenio Gaspard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. 42 minutes into the match, Guararapes's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Nayely came free, but Luís Corrêa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teodosio Ganix struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Luís Corrêa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estación Q.. The Guararapes players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Estación Q. were winning 1-3.
