In the 35th minute, one of Guararapes:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Guararapes. The referee gave AnÐaRaHy a penalty, 38 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Luizão Vidal, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Guararapes's Luís Corrêa. 2-0.

The wind increased when Jacinto Campidelis made the kick off in the second half. Guararapes's Luís Corrêa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Campidelis in the 51st minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Cléberson Hermes notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Guararapes's Luís Corrêa.
