Aleksander Szpakowski didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 5th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Leszek Pasterski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksander Szpakowski having to interfere. A collision led to Pogoń Szczecin getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Tanek Barciniak hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in White Star Troopers's zone, Janusz Prokowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcin Witwicki came out of the goal and Janusz Prokowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 23 minutes, Olgierd Moryl mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pogoń Szczecin and the White Star Troopers players grew even worse after the yellow card. White Star Troopers's Benedykt Wieloch was substituted for Pankracy Niemoj. A collision led to Pogoń Szczecin getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Olgierd Moryl hit a great ball. After having played for 27 minutes, Tanek Barciniak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pogoń Szczecin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tanek Barciniak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcin Witwicki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tanek Barciniak, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After 30 played minutes White Star Troopers got a freekick which was hit by Mikolaj Literski. Marcin Witwicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Cwenar in the 32nd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Pogoń Szczecin's goalkeeper Aleksander Szpakowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mikolaj Literski. Marcin Witwicki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olgierd Moryl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcin Witwicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olgierd Moryl in the 42nd minute of play. The supporters of White Star Troopers booed when Pogoń Szczecin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Cwenar didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Radomir Glogowski to make the kick off. Herbert Cwenar kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. If Stasio Czech had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcin Witwicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olgierd Moryl in the 57th minute of play. Aleksander Szpakowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stasio Czech in the 60th minute of the match. After having played for 81 minutes, Stasio Czech managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. White Star Troopers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stasio Czech was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcin Witwicki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olgierd Moryl's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olgierd Moryl got free with Marcin Witwicki in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 90 minutes into the match, White Star Troopers's goal looked a bit too open when Tanek Barciniak came free, but Marcin Witwicki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aleksander Szpakowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leszek Pasterski in the 92nd minute of play. Marcin Witwicki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tanek Barciniak, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. A collision led to White Star Troopers getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Benedykt Wieloch hit a great ball. 96 minutes into the match, Olgierd Moryl notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of White Star Troopers's Marcin Witwicki. Marcin Witwicki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Pogoń Szczecin had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
