After some careless play in the Dexter Morgan VR46 defense, Leoncio Abadia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Davide Cavaliere. The Dexter Morgan VR46 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Davide Cavaliere should have stopped the shot. 8 minutes into the match, Nacional Potosí's goalkeeper Boni Abad had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arturo Cerri. In the 10th minute Lekubegi Abaurre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davide Cavaliere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Dexter Morgan VR46 getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Frank Sammartino hit a great ball. In the 16th match minute, Nacional Potosí was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zoilo Abadie to maneuver through the defense. Boni Abad was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Frank Sammartino showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 19 minute of play. Nacional Potosí's Boni Abad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Nacional Potosí from getting a goal against them. Davide Cavaliere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lekubegi Abaurre in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Cerri in the 27th minute of play forced Nacional Potosí's goalkeeper Boni Abad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Davide Cavaliere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otsando Abadia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arturo Cerri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Boni Abad made a huge save. If Rios Abancens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Davide Cavaliere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leoncio Abadia in the 43rd minute of play. Davide Cavaliere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otsando Abadia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Nacional Potosí's zone, Franco Penna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boni Abad came out of the goal and Franco Penna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Franco Penna made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Nacional Potosí's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sammartino came free, but Boni Abad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diego Santo kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Boni Abad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franco Penna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 64 played minutes Dexter Morgan VR46 got a freekick which was hit by Frank Sammartino. In the 66th match minute, Dexter Morgan VR46 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Fava to maneuver through the defense. After 80 minutes of play, Dexter Morgan VR46's Arturo Cerri made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Boni Abad was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lekubegi Abaurre came free with the goalkeeper in the 86th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Davide Cavaliere could save by the left post. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Dexter Morgan VR46! The goalkeeper, Davide Cavaliere, was totally fooled by Nacional Potosí's Rios Abancens, who 91 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Dexter Morgan VR46's Davide Cavaliere proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Dexter Morgan VR46 from getting a goal against them. Otsando Abadia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
