Menchu FC's Denis Olando shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 6th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Codruț Bărbulescu but with some difficulty. Filiberto Etxeberri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mircea Musceleanu went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Codruț Bărbulescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonides Vigil's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. After some careless play in the Menchu FC defense, Mircea Musceleanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filiberto Etxeberri. The Menchu FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filiberto Etxeberri should have stopped the shot. Codruț Bărbulescu was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Edgard Lizar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edgard Lizar really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. In the 32nd minute Ivan Şumălan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiberto Etxeberri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciprian Antoniu hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Denis Olando from long distance, 36 minutes into the match, got Codruț Bărbulescu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After recieving a nice pass, Juventus PTM's Cornel Doman tried to score from far away in the 39th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 42 minutes, Edgard Lizar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Menchu FC and the Juventus PTM players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Juventus PTM booed when Menchu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Lizar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Şumălan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Mircea Musceleanus short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Filiberto Etxeberri to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mircea Musceleanu in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Filiberto Etxeberri, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Codruț Bărbulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Baldovino in the 60th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Menchu FC's Leonides Vigil got a free kick in the 65th minute. Menchu FC made a substitution. Blas Quinto replaced Jeremias Mincho. In the 73rd match minute, Menchu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Lizar to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Juventus PTM defense, Blas Quinto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Codruț Bărbulescu. The Juventus PTM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Codruț Bărbulescu should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Menchu FC's Edgard Lizar got a free kick in the 92nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Şumălan in the 93rd minute of play forced Menchu FC's goalkeeper Filiberto Etxeberri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 95 in the game by Mircea Musceleanu from a close distance when the talented Filiberto Etxeberri managed to make a qualified save. Menchu FC's players were relieved. Juventus PTM's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Menchu FC had won, even though Juventus PTM had held more of the ball.
