Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cristóbal Pinaud got the match started through his kick off. Madison's Ulises Jurgi got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Algarrobo getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Andy Monckeberg hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorio Hodei in the 5th minute of play forced Algarrobo's goalkeeper Emmanuel Aguilera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Madison's Jeremias Michael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinos Chaparro in the 8th minute of play. A collision led to Algarrobo getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Manu Abbott hit a great ball. Algarrobo's Emmanuel Aguilera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Algarrobo from getting a goal against them. 15 minutes into the match, Ulises Jurgi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emmanuel Aguilera. Algarrobo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ulises Jurgi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Vinos Chaparro scored 1-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jeremias Michael, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 23rd minute, Uriel Albuerne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Algarrobo's zone, Blas Ubarna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emmanuel Aguilera came out of the goal and Blas Ubarna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th minute, Madison's Marcial Feliu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Jeremias Michael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manu Abbott, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Gualterio Conrao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Emmanuel Aguilera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Madison's Gregorio Hodei got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
If Gualterio Conrao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the game, Máximo Olarra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Algarrobo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Madison the free kick. After a rather tough play, Algarrobo's Máximo Olarra got a free kick in the 61st minute. Gregorio Hodei took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emmanuel Aguilera. Algarrobo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Algarrobo getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Vinos Chaparro hit a great ball. In the 64thth minute of the game Blas Ubarna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Algarrobo's Emmanuel Aguilera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Blas Ubarna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emmanuel Aguilera was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Emmanuel Aguilera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blas Ubarna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Madison's Blas Ubarna got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcial Feliu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Emmanuel Aguilera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 79 minutes, Leoncio Valdivieso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Algarrobo and the Madison players grew even worse after the yellow card. 78 minutes into the game, one of Algarrobo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jeremias Michael made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vinos Chaparro in the 84th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Blas Ubarna in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emmanuel Aguilera saved Algarrobo from getting behind. In the 90th minute, Blas Ubarna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emmanuel Aguilera was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Jeremias Michael didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vinos Chaparro went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Madison had won after a very even match.
