Martín Villar started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Valdo Manurga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tobiasr Sainz. Hispania's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valdo Manurga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 6th minute Martín Villar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nevada Maderos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nevada Maderos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Erosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ximun Zapater sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valdo Manurga spun around in front of the goal 10 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Hispania's goal. Vincente Zapater's late challenge caught a Borussia Dortmund's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vincente Zapater helped the player get up and apologised. After 18 played minutes Hispania got a freekick which was hit by Vincente Zapater. 19 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund's Artizar Vede broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 20th play minutes Duardo Bolantin shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Tobiasr Sainz and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 25th minute, Borussia Dortmund's Duardo Bolantin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Martín Villar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nevada Maderos having to interfere. Estebano Reganado came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tobiasr Sainz could save by the left post. If Duardo Bolantin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Estebano Reganado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tobiasr Sainz was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. In the 36th minute, Hispania's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Duardo Bolantin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Tobiasr Sainz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Estebano Reganado in the 38th minute of play. Hispania's Tobiasr Sainz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Hispania from getting a goal against them. In the 40th minute, Toni Huarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th match minute, Hispania was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toni Huarte to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Duardo Bolantin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tobiasr Sainz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Estebano Reganado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Hispania defense, Duardo Bolantin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tobiasr Sainz. The Hispania fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tobiasr Sainz should have stopped the shot. In the 60th minute, Estebano Reganado made a precise shot to the right of Tobiasr Sainz. Hispania's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. The supporters of Borussia Dortmund booed when Hispania was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacarías Millán didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ximun Zapater charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ximun Zapater the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Hispania's Ximun Zapater got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute of the match Artizar Vede shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tobiasr Sainz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Duardo Bolantin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobiasr Sainz having to interfere. After 73 played minutes Hispania got a freekick which was hit by Orlo Cruz. Duardo Bolantin scored 8-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tobiasr Sainz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Rigoberto Erosa took a quick shot and it went in 8-1 without a chance for Nevada Maderos to make any attempt to save it. Tobiasr Sainz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Duardo Bolantin went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-1 was the resulting score. In the 93rd minute Rigoberto Erosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nevada Maderos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hispania's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
