In the 12th minute Dráusio Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Cerocki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrzej Solibieda charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andrzej Solibieda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th match minute, Russówek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrzej Solibieda to maneuver through the defense. Dráusio Souza helped the player get up and apologised. After 31 played minutes America Futebol Clube SP got a freekick which was hit by Dráusio Souza. Jerzy Pliszka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to America Futebol Clube SP getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Durvalino Prata hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrzej Zawaski in the 41st minute of play forced America Futebol Clube SP's goalkeeper Zé Pedro de Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nilton Sanches was the one to do the kick off. Boleslaw Pstrongowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Zé Pedro de Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dráusio Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Zé Pedro de Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerzy Pliszka, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. The supporters of Russówek booed when America Futebol Clube SP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorian Siqueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nilton Sanches in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bogdan Cerocki, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bogdan Cerocki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nilton Sanches in the 88th minute of the match. When Jerzy Pliszka came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Russówek fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerzy Pliszka couldn't finish the play. In the 93rd match minute, Russówek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radowit Tyski to maneuver through the defense.
