After 7 minutes, Håkan Wiklund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC NORDLAND and the America Futebol Clube SP players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dorian Siqueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lukas Matsson having to interfere. Hélder Almeida struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Lukas Matsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for America Futebol Clube SP. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilton Sanches in the 24th minute of play forced FC NORDLAND's goalkeeper Lukas Matsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hélder Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hélder Almeida in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lukas Matsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zé Pedro de Queirós made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Gabriel Klintæus sent off a good shot on target. When Evaristo de Queirós fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored America Futebol Clube SP's protests and gave Evaristo de Queirós a yellow card for diving instead. After 40 played minutes America Futebol Clube SP got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo de Queirós. During the 43rd minute of the match Jan-Åke Nilsson completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jan-Åke Nilsson a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 44th minute, Jan-Åke Nilsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nilton Sanches to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Rony Neiva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. America Futebol Clube SP's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC NORDLAND the free kick. A collision led to America Futebol Clube SP getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Rony Neiva hit a great ball. FC NORDLAND's Lukas Matsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilton Sanches in the 59th minute of play. Lukas Matsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorian Siqueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. With a little luck, FC NORDLAND's Lukas Matsson got control of the ball when Nilton Sanches tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 65 played minutes FC NORDLAND got a freekick which was hit by David Lundqvist. Aron Bållström's late challenge caught a America Futebol Clube SP's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aron Bållström helped the player get up and apologised. Lukas Matsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hélder Almeida went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of America Futebol Clube SP booed when FC NORDLAND was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malcolm Blom didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zé Pedro de Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Klintæus in the 87th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Gabriel Klintæus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, FC NORDLAND's goalkeeper Lukas Matsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nilton Sanches. Aron Bållström hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. America Futebol Clube SP's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
