An unexpectedly hard shot by Barlas Tengizalp in the 42nd minute of play forced Blue Mountain State's goalkeeper Yalçın Olgunay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Blue Mountain State getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Fikri Kutsalmis hit a great ball. Ahmet Koralp Yıldırım received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Yalçın Olgunay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Erkan Cangur made the kick off in the second half. Yalçın Olgunay was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bünyamin Ergüner showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 52 minute of play.
