Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yann Scott to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Yann Scott kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arnulfo Gaitan. That made the score 0-2 in the 52 minute of play. In the 58th minute Nunez Janpier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabri Fouquet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilfredo Madrid scored 1-4 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sabri Fouquet, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. La Pointe Courte walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
