Zeca Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Luisão Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Chiquinho Corrêa got a free kick in the 7th minute. Dida Vale took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Christiano Bertassi. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, Manfredo de Sena recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Christiano Bertassi. Manfredo de Sena showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Christiano Bertassi was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Manfredo de Sena capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Manfredo de Sena really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After a rather tough play, TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's Cristóvão Rodrigues got a free kick in the 20th minute. TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's Luisão Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilvan Sabóia in the 29th minute of play. TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's Manfredo de Sena got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's Manfredo de Sena got a free kick in the 35th minute. Fabrício Arce kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Percival Cunha hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Gilvan Sabóia took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luisão Simões. Luisão Simões dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Luisão Simões came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Zeca Cardoso. But to his dismay, Zeca Cardoso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 58 minutes into the match, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Rodrigues came free, but Christiano Bertassi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Fabrício Arce ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luisão Simões. Luisão Simões yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Fabrício Arce hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Zeca Cardoso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luisão Simões. Christiano Bertassi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manfredo de Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75thth minute of the game Manfredo de Sena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Christiano Bertassi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luisão Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilvan Sabóia in the 82nd minute of play. In the 85th minute, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Chiquinho Corrêa seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Chiquinho Corrêa the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Los Andes FC - FSCMZ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Chiquinho Corrêa had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Chiquinho Corrêa kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th minute of the match Dida Vale shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christiano Bertassi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Christiano Bertassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manfredo de Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilvan Sabóia got free with Luisão Simões in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
