After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, John Holmes managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Pointe Courte's supporters rose to their feet, but John Holmes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kuldar Külaase breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 5 minutes into the game, Yann Segond was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Pointe Courte's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nisu Unn the free kick. In the 6th match minute, La Pointe Courte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yann Segond to maneuver through the defense. Sabri Fouquet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Loos in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Samuel Aavola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute, John Holmes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. John Holmes struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Kuldar Külaase didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Pointe Courte. Nisu Unn's Kuldar Külaase played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Holmes in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute, La Pointe Courte's John Holmes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 30th minute, Thibaut Mazieres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yann Scott who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Kuldar Külaase when he managed to save the team from getting behind. John Holmes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd match minute, Nisu Unn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aare Varblane to maneuver through the defense. Dominique Virapin charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dominique Virapin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Nisu Unn booed when La Pointe Courte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dominique Virapin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yann Scott who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Kuldar Külaase when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yann Scott stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tim Quantin during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. La Pointe Courte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mathys Guigon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of La Pointe Courte booed when Nisu Unn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marko Merioja didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82ndth minute of the game Yann Scott who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nisu Unn's Kuldar Külaase was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 86 played minutes Nisu Unn got a freekick which was hit by Artur Loos. In the 88th minute, Artur Loos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nisu Unn fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. With an all-out effort, Nisu Unn's Sabri Fouquet threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arne Vooglaid, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Samuel Aavola during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 93 played minutes Nisu Unn got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Aavola. A collision led to Nisu Unn getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Taavi Kender hit a great ball. La Pointe Courte were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Nisu Unn for a fine match.
