A very good chance for a goal. La Pointe Courte's Sabri Fouquet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save La Pointe Courte from getting a goal against them. Thibaut Mazieres scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fausto Venceslas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fausto Venceslas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yann Scott, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, La Pointe Courte's goalkeeper Sabri Fouquet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anselmo Erroman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominique Virapin in the 18th minute of play forced Boquenses's goalkeeper Fausto Venceslas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to La Pointe Courte getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Tim Quantin hit a great ball. Vladimiro Theodore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Sabri Fouquet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute John Holmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Venceslas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Cleto Ovando made a precise shot to the right of Sabri Fouquet. La Pointe Courte's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Sabri Fouquet came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Boquenses's Amado Crescencio. But to his dismay, Amado Crescencio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amado Crescencio made a kick off. In the 50th minute, Jonas Maties hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. La Pointe Courte's Sabri Fouquet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Maties in the 61st minute of play. Yann Scott's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fausto Venceslas firmly grabbed it by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as La Pointe Courte's John Holmes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fausto Venceslas. That made the score 2-3 after 73 minutes of play. La Pointe Courte made a substitution. Mathys Guigon replaced Dominique Virapin. In the 77th match minute, Boquenses was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimiro Theodore to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the match, Boquenses's goalkeeper Fausto Venceslas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mathys Guigon. In the 84th match minute, La Pointe Courte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pierre-Antoine Charbonnel to maneuver through the defense. Sabri Fouquet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amado Crescencio in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute Amado Crescencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabri Fouquet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. La Pointe Courte had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
