Prospero Domenec started the match with the kick off. Amado Crescencio took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnulfo Gaitan. Arnulfo Gaitan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When Dalmacio Ubelteso fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored deportivo madrid's protests and gave Dalmacio Ubelteso a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to deportivo madrid getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Dalmacio Ubelteso hit a great ball. With a little luck, deportivo madrid's Arnulfo Gaitan got control of the ball when Anselmo Erroman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabio Harri charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabio Harri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th minute, Prospero Domenec ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fausto Venceslas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Fausto Venceslas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Domenec in the 34th minute of play. Arnulfo Gaitan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Crescencio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute Ismael Artal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Venceslas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Boquenses's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Artal came free, but Fausto Venceslas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Boquenses booed when deportivo madrid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cecilio Natal didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

But to his dismay, Marcelino Barros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. deportivo madrid's Benito Misael was substituted for Nunez Janpier. Anselmo Erroman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Arnulfo Gaitan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Boquenses's Dalmacio Rameriz got a free kick in the 77th minute. Fausto Venceslas acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 77th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gilberto Tiadoro. In the 80th minute, deportivo madrid's Fausto Ganix ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fausto Venceslas. Fausto Venceslas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. A collision led to Boquenses getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Jonas Maties hit a great ball. In the 88th match minute, Boquenses was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalmacio Rameriz to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Fausto Venceslas managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when deportivo madrid's Marcelino Barros fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Arnulfo Gaitan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amado Crescencio in the 97th minute of the match. The Boquenses fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. deportivo madrid were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
