The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Kernsdorf SSA's Radomir Dziechciowski got control of the ball when Umberto Romano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlos Schneider showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyryl Cichocki, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. A collision led to Kernsdorf SSA getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Boleslaw Banas hit a great ball. Jarrett Beljean hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Carlos Schneider showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olgierd Olszewski in the 45th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Kernsdorf SSA's goalkeeper Radomir Dziechciowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frederic Kuster. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frederic Kuster made a kick off. If Umberto Romano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boleslaw Banas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carlos Schneider came out and tried to block the shot, but Boleslaw Banas slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 59th minute. 62 minutes into the game, Kernsdorf SSA's Marian Juroszek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Schneider made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Radomir Dziechciowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Krause in the 66th minute of play. The supporters of Kernsdorf SSA booed when FC Wil 1900 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicholas Zollinger didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute of the match, Marian Juroszek tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Carlos Schneider saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Kernsdorf SSA's Radomir Dziechciowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederic Kuster in the 71st minute of play. If Marian Juroszek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the match, Frederic Kuster had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Radomir Dziechciowski. Kernsdorf SSA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frederic Kuster was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The supporters of FC Wil 1900 booed when Kernsdorf SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cyryl Cichocki didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 80 minutes of play, FC Wil 1900's Frederic Kuster made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Radomir Dziechciowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! 86 minutes into the match, FC Wil 1900's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Juroszek came free, but Carlos Schneider reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Radomir Dziechciowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frederic Kuster, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of FC Wil 1900 booed when Kernsdorf SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boleslaw Banas didn't get a good kick on the ball.
