Spectators: 7698 (Terracing: 5775, Seating: 1770, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Patricio Garviras kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Jorge Niță reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alfredo Enekoitz. The goal made the score 1-0. Patricio Garviras could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Alfredo Enekoitz made a huge save. In the 10th minute, Ulises Fidele made a precise shot to the right of Zoil Peregrin. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Club Sportivo Quilmes's Ladislao Rius got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Jorge Niță shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 23rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Alfredo Enekoitz but with some difficulty. Carmelo Irrintzi hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. If Jeronimo Salvator had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 28th match minute, Club Sportivo Quilmes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Lope to maneuver through the defense. Jorge Niță took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alfredo Enekoitz. Club Sportivo Quilmes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Alfredo Enekoitz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Patricio Garviras showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 31 minute of play. Emanuel Valente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Patricio Garviras got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ulises Fidele to make the kick off. When Emanuel Valente came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Club Sportivo Quilmes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Valente couldn't finish the play. When Mancio Estevis fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's protests and gave Mancio Estevis a yellow card for diving instead. Club Sportivo Quilmes's Roque Ixidor was substituted for Emanuel Valente. Zoil Peregrin made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Roque Ixidor sent off a good shot on target. In the 68th minute Rubio Pando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Enekoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 71 minutes of play, Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Patricio Garviras made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfredo Enekoitz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 74th minute, Roque Ixidor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77th minute Rubio Pando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Enekoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredo Enekoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubio Pando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfredo Enekoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Garviras in the 90th minute of play. Alfredo Enekoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Garviras in the 92nd minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
