The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 12 minutes, Martxel Baezabal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ and the Club Sportivo Quilmes players grew even worse after the yellow card. Oidor Gracia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alfredo Enekoitz. Club Sportivo Quilmes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Tiburcio Basajaun could shoot a difficult shot in the 37th minute, which Tiago Somarriba however easily saved by the left post. Tiburcio Basajaun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Somarriba having to interfere. Club Sportivo Quilmes's Alfredo Enekoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oidor Gracia in the 44th minute of play.

Club Sportivo Quilmes's Alfredo Enekoitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Club Sportivo Quilmes from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Genaro Abaunza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Sportivo Quilmes's supporters rose to their feet, but Genaro Abaunza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiago Somarriba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teyo Vana's late challenge caught a Club Sportivo Quilmes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teyo Vana helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Teyo Vana hit a great ball. In the 70th minute, Emanuel Valente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Club Sportivo Quilmes getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Jeronimo Salvator hit a great ball. Club Sportivo Quilmes's Alfredo Enekoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martxel Baezabal in the 76th minute of play. Genaro Abaunza hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Alfredo Enekoitz made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Martxel Baezabal sent off a good shot on target. Emanuel Valente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
