Strömsbro IF's Ivan Billberg got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Strömsbro IF's zone, Alfons Gabrielsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pelle Andreasson came out of the goal and Alfons Gabrielsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FF Små Gröna Män's Valentin Asserlindh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Billberg in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Nordström in the 32nd minute of play forced Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Pelle Andreasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valentin Asserlindh came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Strömsbro IF's Ivan Billberg. But to his dismay, Ivan Billberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of FF Små Gröna Män booed when Strömsbro IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Billberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute, Ivan Billberg fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. After 46 minutes, Maximilian Lindqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FF Små Gröna Män and the Strömsbro IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th match minute, FF Små Gröna Män was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximilian Lindqvist to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Strömsbro IF were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Jörn Hermansson made the kick off in the second half. With 53 minutes on the clock, Sune Tunström commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of Strömsbro IF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FF Små Gröna Män:s goal. The referee gave FF Små Gröna Män a penalty, 55 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nicklas Nordstedt, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Strömsbro IF's Pelle Andreasson. 1-1. In the 60th minute FF Små Gröna Män were awarded a corner. Nicklas Nordstedt went to the cornerflag to take it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jörn Hermansson during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ivan Billberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Strömsbro IF booed when FF Små Gröna Män was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lukas Malmström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 94 minutes, Alfons Gabrielsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FF Små Gröna Män's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfons Gabrielsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Strömsbro IF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Strömsbro IF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
