The audience thought a goal was coming when Martxel Baezabal got free with Auguste Decimo in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sebastiano Scilacci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Tiago Somarriba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Martxel Baezabal reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Auguste Decimo. The goal made the score 1-0. With a little luck, FC Wil 1900's Auguste Decimo got control of the ball when Gabino Ilarraza tried to sneak it across the goal line. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Tiago Somarriba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miro Primavera in the 20th minute of play. Auguste Decimo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Goizeder Rabanal in the 24th minute of play. A collision led to ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Oidor Gracia hit a great ball. In the 26th match minute, FC Wil 1900 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Umberto Romano to maneuver through the defense. Medardo Pedrera hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Amandus Blattmer managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Wil 1900's supporters rose to their feet, but Amandus Blattmer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiago Somarriba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 45th minute of the match Oidor Gracia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Auguste Decimo skillfully saved the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martxel Baezabal was the one to do the kick off. David Krause struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Tiago Somarriba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Wil 1900. Auguste Decimo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Goizeder Rabanal in the 56th minute of the match. Auguste Decimo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oidor Gracia in the 69th minute of play. A collision led to FC Wil 1900 getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Julio Medina hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the match, Frederic Kuster notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Tiago Somarriba. Tiago Somarriba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Auguste Decimo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oidor Gracia went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Umberto Romano during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 90th minute, Umberto Romano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oidor Gracia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Auguste Decimo. FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Medardo Pedrera lost his temper 95 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground.
