Spectators: 7700 (Terracing: 5776, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 153) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Marius Lipan got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Marko Lindberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Horia Găman. The goal made the score 1-0. Manfred Pedersson kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 10 minutes into the game, when Lucrețiu Bușcu put in a rough tackle. After recieving a nice pass, Vännäsby BF's Åke Olsson tried to score from far away in the 12th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Vännäsby BF's Kevin Wallengren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Răzvan Şerbănescu in the 21st minute of play. After 25 played minutes Vännäsby BF got a freekick which was hit by Manfred Pedersson. Arne Österlund's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Horia Găman firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 27th match minute, FC PIETROSUL -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horea Hristea to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th match minute, Vännäsby BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leif Askstedt to maneuver through the defense. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Dorin Nediu got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Răzvan Şerbănescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leif Askstedt in the 38th minute of play forced FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goalkeeper Horia Găman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the FC PIETROSUL -MM- defense, Arne Löfskog kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Horia Găman. The FC PIETROSUL -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Horia Găman should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arne Österlund was the one to do the kick off. Horia Găman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arne Löfskog, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kevin Wallengren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Răzvan Şerbănescu in the 61st minute. Horia Găman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arne Österlund in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Arne Österlund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Horia Găman was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Horia Găman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arne Löfskog, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 77th minute, Arne Österlund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Horia Găman was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. After 81 minutes of play, Vännäsby BF's Arne Löfskog made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Horia Găman was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Horia Găman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marko Lindberg in the 84th minute of play. In the 87th minute Leif Askstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horia Găman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arne Löfskog hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Vännäsby BF's zone, Răzvan Şerbănescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kevin Wallengren came out of the goal and Răzvan Şerbănescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Horia Găman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arne Österlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vännäsby BF fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC PIETROSUL -MM- had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
