Marius Lipan's late challenge caught a Eléctricos F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marius Lipan helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Marius Lipan got a free kick in the 4th minute. After some careless play in the Eléctricos F.C. defense, Răzvan Mergea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joffre Viñambres. The Eléctricos F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joffre Viñambres should have stopped the shot. Joffre Viñambres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marius Lipan in the 11th minute of play. The supporters of Eléctricos F.C. booed when FC PIETROSUL -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Răzvan Mergea didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Horia Găman got control of the ball when Ramos Berrio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 21st minute Marius Lipan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joffre Viñambres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joffre Viñambres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marius Lipan, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. With an all-out effort, Eléctricos F.C.'s Horia Găman threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ramos Berrio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Horia Găman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jerson Iturbide in the 33rd minute. Horia Găman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerson Iturbide in the 35th minute of the match. Ramos Berrio had several of the FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 41 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Horia Găman as he didn't even see the shot coming.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marius Lipan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramos Berrio in the 55th minute of play forced FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goalkeeper Horia Găman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horia Găman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramos Berrio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, Ubelteso Ribadas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Horia Găman. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ubelteso Ribadas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Ubelteso Ribadas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Horia Găman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Răzvan Mergea managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Răzvan Mergea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joffre Viñambres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Ramos Berrio put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Horia Găman. In the 73rd match minute, Eléctricos F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaramillo Campa to maneuver through the defense. Horia Găman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramos Berrio in the 76th minute of play. Horia Găman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramos Berrio's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute, Jerson Iturbide got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
