Spectators: 7669 (Terracing: 5752, Seating: 1764, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. João Francisco Mota started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Mexilhão F. C. defense, Durval Brito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelinho Matorin. The Mexilhão F. C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelinho Matorin should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Geovânio Severo managed to get in a good position for a shot. ⚜️ Inter de Meião MzC's supporters rose to their feet, but Geovânio Severo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelinho Matorin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 13 played minutes Mexilhão F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Manfredo Faria. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Luís Gustavo Leme managed to get in a good position for a shot. ⚜️ Inter de Meião MzC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Gustavo Leme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelinho Matorin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcelinho Matorin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Messi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edu Siqueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Allan Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edu Siqueira hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovânio Severo in the 31st minute of play forced Mexilhão F. C.'s goalkeeper Marcelinho Matorin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexilhão F. C.'s Marcelinho Matorin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Messi in the 36th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Durval Brito got free with Marcelinho Matorin in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. ⚜️ Inter de Meião MzC's Allan Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Francisco Mota in the 42nd minute of play. Angelo Marinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ⚜️ Inter de Meião MzC's Cristiano Messi got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Durval Brito to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexilhão F. C.'s José Paulo Costa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Allan Silva. That made the score 1-1 after 52 minutes of play. In the 61st minute Durval Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelinho Matorin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovânio Severo in the 68th minute of play forced Mexilhão F. C.'s goalkeeper Marcelinho Matorin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute Durval Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelinho Matorin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelinho Matorin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Durval Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geovânio Severo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rd match minute, ⚜️ Inter de Meião MzC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovânio Severo to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes into the match, ⚜️ Inter de Meião MzC's goalkeeper Allan Silva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edu Siqueira. The supporters of ⚜️ Inter de Meião MzC booed when Mexilhão F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emerson Tavares didn't get a good kick on the ball. ⚜️ Inter de Meião MzC's Allan Silva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save ⚜️ Inter de Meião MzC from getting a goal against them. Joel Couto hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, ⚜️ Inter de Meião MzC's Geovânio Severo got a free kick in the 93rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Durval Brito in the 97th minute of play forced Mexilhão F. C.'s goalkeeper Marcelinho Matorin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
