LiBeRiA F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ekzema F.V. the free kick. A collision led to LiBeRiA F.C. getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Juan Ignacio Gol hit a great ball. In the 6th minute, Daniel Bueno made a precise shot to the right of Rodrigo Amato. LiBeRiA F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, LiBeRiA F.C.'s goalkeeper Rodrigo Amato had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fred Vianna. Márcio de Mendonça hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After 13 played minutes, LiBeRiA F.C.'s Leonides Pierres shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sílvio Cordeiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in LiBeRiA F.C. reached it. Rodrigo Amato was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Márcio de Mendonça capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Márcio de Mendonça really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Juan Ignacio Gol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Sílvio Cordeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sílvio Cordeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Ignacio Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sílvio Cordeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Ignacio Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After 31 minutes, Fred Vianna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ekzema F.V. and the LiBeRiA F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ekzema F.V. getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Fred Vianna hit a great ball. After 32 played minutes Ekzema F.V. got a freekick which was hit by Matheus Aparecido. Igor Cordairo, 33 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Franklin Maia hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Sílvio Cordeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Ignacio Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Sílvio Cordeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltasar Guib, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute, LiBeRiA F.C.'s Baltasar Guib dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. LiBeRiA F.C.'s Rodrigo Amato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuca Tróia in the 61st minute of play. LiBeRiA F.C.'s Mauro Abajas got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabinho Sarmento kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After 76 played minutes Ekzema F.V. got a freekick which was hit by Márcio de Mendonça. A hard shot by Leonides Pierres from long distance, 77 minutes into the match, got Sílvio Cordeiro's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 79th minute Samuca Tróia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Amato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute, Maicon Linhares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute, LiBeRiA F.C.'s Baltasar Guib ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sílvio Cordeiro. Sílvio Cordeiro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. 87 minutes into the match, Ekzema F.V.'s goal looked a bit too open when Juan Ignacio Gol came free, but Sílvio Cordeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodrigo Amato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Márcio de Mendonça in the 92nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as LiBeRiA F.C.'s Baltasar Guib slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sílvio Cordeiro. That made the score 2-4 after 95 minutes of play. The LiBeRiA F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing LiBeRiA F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
