Linköpings AIK's Jonatan Andersson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Linköpings AIK from getting a goal against them. Linköpings AIK's Jonatan Andersson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Linköpings AIK from getting a goal against them. With 40 minutes on the clock, Jurand Wojtowicz commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Szczakowianka fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! Ludomil Wachna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Linköpings AIK's Jonatan Andersson got control of the ball when Tomasz Basaik tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half Linköpings AIK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Maksymilian Bury made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Bengt-Åke Thidén sent off a good shot on target. Maksymilian Bury showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olof Brolin, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bengt-Åke Thidén got free with Maksymilian Bury in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 82 minutes into the match, Ludomil Wachna notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Linköpings AIK's Jonatan Andersson. Jonatan Andersson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The tension between the Linköpings AIK and the Szczakowianka players grew even worse after the yellow card. Szczakowianka's Marcin Arnista was substituted for Ludomil Wachna. 92 minutes into the game, one of Linköpings AIK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
