Conrado Fernandez was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Vilmos Takács capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vilmos Takács really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Koppány Angyal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Moreira in the 43rd minute of the match. If Ede Gerebics had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Márk Dala to make the kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Márk Dala couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Abutres 2003 FDP's Dedé Damião got a free kick in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Moreira in the 79th minute of play forced Grandi Lupi's goalkeeper Koppány Angyal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grandi Lupi's Koppány Angyal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dedé Damião in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Vilmos Takács notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Abutres 2003 FDP's Conrado Fernandez. Conrado Fernandez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Grandi Lupi fans cheered their team off the field, for while Abutres 2003 FDP had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
