An unexpectedly hard shot by Rickard Hedlund in the 19th minute of play forced Gothic Souls's goalkeeper Menderes Hikmet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Gothic Souls booed when Linköpings AIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olof Brolin didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Poyraz Suyurgal in the 24th minute of play forced Linköpings AIK's goalkeeper Jonatan Andersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Linköpings AIK defense, Poyraz Suyurgal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonatan Andersson. The wind increased when Beşir Bozok made the kick off in the second half. Robert Jansson charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robert Jansson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 54 played minutes Linköpings AIK got a freekick which was hit by Robert Jansson. 55 minutes into the match, Beşir Bozok dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonatan Andersson, 0-3. 59 minutes into the match, Rickard Hedlund notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Gothic Souls's Menderes Hikmet. Menderes Hikmet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nihat Altınpınar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, Olof Brolin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Menderes Hikmet was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. 71 minutes into the match, Linköpings AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Beşir Bozok came free, but Jonatan Andersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonatan Andersson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Beşir Bozok's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Menderes Hikmet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rickard Hedlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beşir Bozok in the 95th minute of play forced Linköpings AIK's goalkeeper Jonatan Andersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gothic Souls eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
