The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 10th minute Gugu Leme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Pudes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arlindo Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejo Leheren in the 12th minute of the match. With a little luck, Tama's Serafin Pudes got control of the ball when Renato Pena tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alberto Tróia charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alberto Tróia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, ATHLETICO PRaiano's Alberto Tróia got a free kick in the 17th minute. A collision led to Tama getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Domingo Cuarto hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the game, Iuri Arruda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Serafin Pudes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of ATHLETICO PRaiano booed when Tama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Urre didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Tama's Serafin Pudes got control of the ball when Renato Pena tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Zacarias Sotero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tama's supporters rose to their feet, but Zacarias Sotero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The ATHLETICO PRaiano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arlindo Romero should have stopped the shot. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Renato Pena got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Serafin Pudes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gugu Leme showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 45 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alberto Tróia was the one to do the kick off. Gugu Leme kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Hernan Dimas hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Tama's zone, Renato Pena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafin Pudes came out of the goal and Renato Pena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arlindo Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dante Gaueko in the 59th minute of play. The supporters of ATHLETICO PRaiano booed when Tama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dante Gaueko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Renato Pena took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Serafin Pudes. Serafin Pudes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Bartolo Mingo charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bartolo Mingo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 67 played minutes Tama got a freekick which was hit by Bartolo Mingo. Arlindo Romero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dante Gaueko in the 73rd minute. Alejo Leheren kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. When Federico Urre fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tama's protests and gave Federico Urre a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Tama's Federico Urre got a free kick in the 76th minute. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Iuri Arruda sped through Tama's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Serafin Pudes. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Arlindo Romero successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Domingo Cuarto hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. ATHLETICO PRaiano were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Tama for a fine match.
