The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, FERRABARCA FC's Zeru Tortoles got a free kick in the 5th minute. A collision led to FERRABARCA FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Celino Tobalina hit a great ball. After having played for 7 minutes, Francisco Ibañez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boulogne del Ciclón's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Ibañez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Celedonio Rasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Lamberto having to interfere. Armando Quin hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Ovidio Lamberto acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 21st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Julen Hoyuelos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafino Rameriz in the 23rd minute of play forced FERRABARCA FC's goalkeeper Elorri Alamon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 played minutes Boulogne del Ciclón got a freekick which was hit by Basilio Gai. Ovidio Lamberto made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Orlin Aguilar sent off a good shot on target. Elorri Alamon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafino Rameriz in the 39th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Serafino Rameriz put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Elorri Alamon. Elorri Alamon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafino Rameriz, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maximino Clementi made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Julen Hoyuelos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FERRABARCA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boulogne del Ciclón the free kick. In the 52nd match minute, FERRABARCA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julen Hoyuelos to maneuver through the defense. If Armando Quin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elorri Alamon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximino Clementi in the 54th minute of the match. Orlin Aguilar took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ovidio Lamberto. Ovidio Lamberto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. If Orlin Aguilar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Boulogne del Ciclón getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Serafino Rameriz hit a great ball. In the 78th minute, Orlin Aguilar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FERRABARCA FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Rene Tuste came free with the goalkeeper in the 87th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Elorri Alamon could save by the left post. After 93 played minutes FERRABARCA FC got a freekick which was hit by Julen Hoyuelos. Serafino Rameriz charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Serafino Rameriz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
